Use generic event clothing so that it can be reused or repurposed.

Ask your stand contractor to use green options in their designs - think solvent free paints, FSC certified timber, recycled cardboard or plastics, polyethylene boards, cellulose fabrics, etc

Also make sure you have considered the life cycle of the stand materials - what happens when the event is over?

Promote the use of LED lighting including setting show targets

Promote the use of carpet tiles by exhibitor suppliers that take them back and recycle them. Use of carpet tiles in gangways.

Need to make sure that the cleaning products of the tiles are toxin free so as not to cause another environmental impact elsewhere.

Use and enforce only recycleable carpets for all stands at event

Vinyl is much harder to recycle. Bamboo is an alternative to vinyl but the use of alternatives can be tricky in terms of budget and build time constraints.
