There are a number of free scans that can be done on websites to access how accessible it is. A simple contrast checker is a good place to start.

Push to improve accessibility and social inclusion in the workplace as this will lead to better understanding and therefore change elsewhere including events.

Provide a safe space to ask questions regarding accessibility and inclusion

Integrate accessibility from the beginning of the event planning process including a budget line. This avoids accessibility being an afterthought or unable to fulfil requirements due to lack of budget.

Engage with different communities and set up a working group to gain lived experience feedback.
